Celebrating Black History:

Celebrating Black History Looking at S tories of the Lord's Dealings with His People

History:

History There is not just Black History or European History “His” – “story” is not the story of the Oppressor but of God and who he is. History Glorifies God. God is the god of History History is not written by the winners but by God Himself.

God has said:

God has said Declare what is to be, present it— let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the LORD? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. – Isaiah 45:12 Studying History shows us God.

God IS Clear:

God IS Clear 24 “The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by human hands. 25 And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything. Rather, he himself gives everyone life and breath and everything else. 26 From one man he made all the nations, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he marked out their appointed times in history and the boundaries of their lands. 27 God did this so that they would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from any one of us. – Acts 17:24-27
