We are located approx. 30 minutes from downtown Detroit. Our population is around 16,000.Eisenhower Elementary School: Eisenhower Elementary School Eisenhower Elementary School is part of Fraser Public Schools. We have 6 elementary schools, 1 junior high, and 1 high school. We have 555 students in our school, which is a K-6 school.The Seasons: The Seasons Here in Fraser, Michigan, we enjoy the four seasons. When we start school it is usually still pretty hot, but it turns cool quickly. The leaves turn colors and fall off the trees. Last year, we had a pretty hard winter, lots and lots of snow!! This year they are predicting a a pretty harsh winter again.El Charos Restaurant: El Charos Restaurant Even though we are a small community, we do have several favorite hot spots. El Charos is a favorite Mexican restaurant in our town. As part of our walk through the community field trip, we walk here for lunch along with walking to the Fraser Public Library, fire station, and Fort Fraser.Fort Fraser: Fort Fraser Another Fraser hot spot is Fort Fraser. It is a really cool wooden play area and park. It was totally funded and built by Fraser residents several years ago.Our Classroom: Our Classroom This is our Promethean Board. We were lucky enough to get it several years ago. We love to go up to the board and do all sorts of fun stuff.Our Classroom: Our Classroom This is our jungle-themed reading corner. We love to go over there with our book baskets to read during Daily Five time, or anytime that we are done with our work.Our Classroom: Our Classroom This is part of our classroom library. We get to go “book shopping” once a week to fill our own book baskets. We love to go “book shopping” and look forward to our day to shop.Our Teacher: Mrs. Short: Our Teacher: Mrs. Short Mrs. Short has been teaching for 18 years in pre-k-3 rd grade. This is her sixth year teaching second grade and she absolutely loves it!! This is a picture of her with her daughter, Kayla.Meet our Class: Meet our Class We have 26 students in our class this year.
