Release Yourself From Bondage:

Gwen Dittmar, MA ~ Entelechy Coaching, LLC Release Yourself From Bondage March 27, 2013 One Health

We Create Our Bondage:

“ I don ’ t like (fill in the blank) that I am experiencing in my life ” (depression, home life, career, in-laws). Life happens. Life is. Our wishing it were different creates bondage and suffering. How does it show up in our daily lives: Tired, fatigue Anxiety Stress Weight Distraction, Scattered Anger, frustration Dis-ease in the body Entelechy Coaching, LLC We Create Our Bondage

Freeing Ourselves:

Freeing Ourselves We have the choice to accept it and relieve our own bondage and suffering. What matters is how we relate to ourselves and others as we go through the issue, versus the issue itself. It ’ s a daily choice that requires and creates self discipline. Entelechy Coaching, LLC

Examples:

Accepting – I accept that I am an alcoholic Liking – I may not like it but I still accept Accepting – I accept my in-laws for who they are Liking – I don ’ t have to like them or enjoy them Accepting – I accept where I am professionally Liking – I may not like it but I still accept Entelechy Coaching, LLC Examples

How Do We Accept? :

The Process: It ’ s simple. It ’ s a choice. Write it on paper and share with another person. Voluntary choice: I choose whether I want to eat eggs or yogurt for breakfast. I choose whether I want to accept my life as it is or not. Forced choice: I am forced into choosing. I am forced into rehab. I am obligated to spend time with in-laws. I am fired from my job.
