International Swimming League Mission: The International Swimming League strives to allow/introduce more swimmers to a professional career in swimming than ever before. We administer competitive swimming at the professional level to more athletes by providing dual meet competitions for our members, supporters, affiliates and swimming fans across the globe. The ISL is committed to the improvement and betterment of our sport.

International Swimming League Vision: The ISL instates a new, radical way of producing professional swimming competitions by introducing a dual meet format seen at the age group and collegiate levels. With an emphasis on team strategy, head-to-head competition, and entertainment, the International Swimming League will bring in new fans while retaining those intrigued with the sport.

International Swimming League Goals: The International Swimming League will strive to grow to include larger venues, aiding in the funding of new venues, as well as expanding the company’s performance market into other neighboring countries. The International Swimming League will aim to build a strong relationship with the Federation Internationale de Natation (FINA), the international governing body, to govern and promote the sport of swimming worldwide.

International Swimming League:

International Swimming League Individual teams will be responsible for the organizing, promoting, and marketing of their specific team. The ISL simply acts as the oversight body for the teams participating.

International Swimming League:

International Swimming League Meet Structure: Meets will comprise of a dual meet format, with a home team and a visiting team in a head to head competition at the home team’s venue. The home team will be in responsible for ticket sales, concessions, promotion of the event, providing volunteers and security, and meet staff. Meet Officials will be provided by the International Swimming League. The International Swimming League will provide media and broadcasting coverage for select meets.

International Swimming League Rules and Regulations: All meets will be run in compliance with the rules set by FINA for swimming competitions.

International Swimming League Pre-meet Procedures: Before the competition shall begin a mandatory meeting must be held to review rules and other administrative materials. All coaches and captains of the competing teams, officials, and meet committee members must be present.

International Swimming League Dual Meet Format: The away team has choice of whether to swim in the odd or even lanes for the entirety of the meet. There will be one heat of each men’s and women’s event.

International Swimming League:

International Swimming League ISL’s Statement of Coaching Ethics: As members of the ISL coaching line, coaches have essential responsibilities and tasks to their occupation, to the athletes who participate in the ISL, and to all those whom they are in association with. Coaches are expected to be role models and to handle themselves at a high level of fairness and impeccable manners at all times.

International Swimming League:

International Swimming League Media Obligations: At all ISL swimming competitions, any coach and/or athlete requested by the media will be required to make themselves available for interviews. Athletes and coaches must turn up to the interview area within 15 minutes of the last event. Failing to do so will result in an athlete or coach being charged with negligence.

International Swimming League Broadcasting Rights: The ISL’s broadcast partners (ABC & ESPN) retain all rights to the television broadcast or cablecast, Internet or radio broadcast of ISL competitions.
