Slide1:

When they were young, we played together and loved each other very much. Mary, she was so beautiful, those Spanish eyes could melt anybody. When I annulled my marriage to her mother, Catherine, she became illegitimate. She went with her mother for a while until I sorted a good education for her. She resented me after this, though I still loved her very much. Elizabeth, wow what a clever girl. She was just like me, red hair, white complection, tall and intelligent. We thought a lot about each other until she found out about her mothers fate, Anne Boleyn. She was 8 years old and saw what happened to Queen Catherine Howard, asking questions she found out the truth about Anne. She was never the same with me after that. I think it could effect the way she views marriage in the future. Edward, it took a lot of time and sadness to gain a son and heir, my beautiful wife Jane, she died only 13 days after he was born. She did see him christened which made me feel a bit better, but I miss her so much, she was the love of my life. Edward always loved me, we never had a bad word together, his education and safety kept us apart for long periods but we still kept in touch. His sisters play with him a lot, and his cousin Jane Grey. They seem very close. So I suppose you could say that my relationships with my children was effected by politics and my way of life. How could a royal child be cared for by their parents any other way?

Slide2:

I did have other children, 7 died either in childbirth or very soon after. I also had children out of marriage! Does that shock you? Why should it after all I was King of England and could have any girl I wanted. Henry Fitzroy, great lad, strong intelligent and a sportsman like I used to be. I made him Duke of Richmond, he always looked up to me with affection. I was in the process of making him my successor until Edward came along, but he was sick when older and died at the age of . Henry Carey, I kept this quiet for a long time, his mother was Mary Boleyn so it could have been a bit embarrasing as I married her sister. We married her off to Carey to give my son a good name. There was a few girls, but we covered our tracks well.
