Bonfire Night Photos To capture fireworks: Use a tripod or rest to keep the camera steady Zoom to the equivalent of 100mm (mid zoom) Use manual focus if you can and pre-focus on a point at the same distance as the fireworks ISO 100, aperture F8 and shutter about 5 seconds If you don’t have manual controls try using the night scene mode.
