The Kingdoms of Men

What are the Kingdoms of Men? :

What are the Kingdoms of Men? Began in Rebellion to God Genesis 10:8 Cush begot Nimrod; he began to be a mighty one on the earth. He was a mighty hunter before the LORD; therefore it is said, "Like Nimrod the mighty hunter before the LORD.” And the beginning of his kingdom was Babel, Erech, Accad, and Calneh . . . Founder was Nimrod the grandson of Ham whose family was cursed. From Nimrod came Babel and its towering symbol of rebellion.

What are the Kingdoms of Men? :

What are the Kingdoms of Men? David Lipscomb: Human government originated in the rebellion of man against his Maker, and was the organized effort of man to govern himself and to promote his own good and to conduct the affairs of the world independently of the government of God. All the wars and strifes between tribes, races, nations, from the beginning until now, have been the result of man's effort to govern himself and the world, rather than to submit to the government of God. (Civil Government)

What are the Kingdoms of Men? :

What are the Kingdoms of Men? Built on human authority Mark 10:42-44 But Jesus called them to Himself and said to them, "You know that those who are considered rulers over the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. "Yet it shall not be so among you; but whoever desires to become great among you shall be your servant. "And whoever of you desires to be first shall be slave of all.

But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God's minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. The chief occupation of civil governments from the beginning has been war.
