Fan Start-up: 

Fan Start-up The following items should be checked after 8 hours, after 24 hours, and after two weeks: Set screws holding wheel on shaft (or bushing bolts) Fan mounting hardware Belt/coupling alignment Belt tension (new belts may stretch a little) Bearing temperature (should be < 200°F ) Vibration and noise

Bearing Temperature: 

Bearing Temperature Maximum bearing temperature 225°F or 106°C Normal operating range 125°F - 180°F or 51°C - 81°C Bearing temperature will increase during initial start-up and during Re-lubrication.
