What is a Merchant Banker? : 

4 What is a Merchant Banker? A Merchant Banker deals primarily with acquisitions of corporations and other profit making assets for it own portfolio for profit. MIC acquires income producing and undervalued assets for its own account for profit, or takes an equity position in the asset. Assets are acquired through its proprietary investment system. The investment system consist of four platforms which facilitate financing, income and acquisitions.

MIC select, underwrite the deals and structure the financing. MIC allocate and direct cash flow and income to our Forex Trading unit AFX.

The monthly profits and income that are generated from acquisitions and existing deals are invested into our Forex Trading unit ,AFX, for multiplied interest earnings. For example: $ 500,000 is traded over a period of 12 months becomes $1,000,000. These funds are consistently traded to increase risk capital. It is our opinion that a 100% return can be obtained using proven money management strategies. We use $500,000 because the companies we acquire must net $500,000 after taxes. Again the companies are acquired through our IPO unit.

16 TRADING PLATFORM AFX is the trading platform of MIC. About AFX AFX is an independent FX trading contractor. Its sole objective is to take as much profit as possible from the FOREX market utilizing its proprietary trading methodologies while at the same time managing risk to preserve your capital. As an independent contractor AFX only trades for corporations and high net-worth individuals. Fundamentally, companies that regularly trade FX, or companies wishing to participate in the FX markets hire AFX to trade in their accounts. As an independent contractor AFX has the ability to trade with several corporations simultaneously. These companies benefit greatly from their relationship with AFX as they do not withhold federal, state and Social Security (FICA) taxes, or pay unemployment or workers; compensation insurance, as is standard in all leave, vacation, health insurance and stock options, as they do to attract and retain employees. In fact, these companies do not have to offer much of anything to AFX, except that for which they’ve agreed by contract. AFX is not a FOREX hedge fund or CTA.
