Teacher Appreciation Day :Teacher Appreciation Day Foundations for Future presents… … at Shingle Creek Elementary


Project Goal :Project Goal Team Foundations for Future will raise $750 (not including JA lesson money) to host a teacher appreciation event at Shingle Creek Elementary on April tenth that meets the expectations of the staff of Shingle Creek Elementary.

Objective One :Objective One Team Foundations for Future will acquire 450 dollars in food donations by February 16, 2009.


Objective One :Objective One Macaroni Grill donated trays of lasagna, spaghetti marinara, and fettuccini alfredo. They also provided the trays and heaters to keep them warm for three hours.


Objective One :Objective One Mr. D’Amato donated $100 that Nick used to make three trays of sandwiches and three large bowls of salad.


Objective One :Objective One We met our $450 goal for food donations and had just enough food to feed the 115 staff members at Shingle Creek Results


Objective Two :Objective Two Foundations for Future will raise $150 dollars by holding a Bowlathon at a local bowling alley by the week of March 1, 2009.

Objective Two :Objective Two Our Bowlathon raised $68.50. Less than we planned, but we had a good time. Results


Objective Three :Objective Three Foundations for Future will host a poker tournament for 15 friends on Saturday February 28, 2009 from 7:00 to 10:00 P.M., which will make $50.

Objective Four :Objective Four Foundations for Future will obtain $50 worth of donations such as gift cards and spa certificates by April 10, 2009.


Objective Four :Objective Four Friday’s Restaurant donated $30 in gift cards.


Objective Four :Objective Four Magic Nails and Spa donated a gift certificate for a $15 manicure.


Objective Four :Objective Four Wal Mart donated a $20 gift card.


Objective Four :Objective Four Nick’s father and his manager at Macaroni Grill each made a personal donation of $100.


Objective Four :Objective Four A teacher at Shingle Creek donated four Orlando Science Center passes valued at $68.


Objective Four :Objective Four The Cinemark at Festival Bay donated four movie tickets valued at $35.


Objective Four :Objective Four In total, our cash and gift certificate donations totaled $398. This greatly exceeded our goal of $50. Results
