Forgiveness and the Cross: the bridge between Man and God :
RE@OrielHS Forgiveness and the Cross: the bridge between Man and God AT 1: To consider what the natural relationship between God and Humanity is.
AT 2: To explore how Christ affects the relationship between God and Humanity.
What do Christians believe about their relationship with God? :
RE@OrielHS What do Christians believe about their relationship with God? Apostles Creed
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, God's only Son, our Lord, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried; he descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again; he ascended into heaven, he is seated at the right hand of the Father, and he will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. AMEN.
3=1 :
RE@OrielHS 3=1 Read p18-19 in Christianity and answer all the questions on p19.
For an example symbol consider a venn diagram.
For a flowchart see this example.
What are we here for? :
RE@OrielHS What are we here for? Write your ideas on the purpose of all creation. Why do we and the universe exist?
Compare your view with the Christian view (see day six on p49 and see p56). Write out how you think each view would affect the way you treat: the people around you, the environment, the people you never meet and God.
Just tell me what to do! :
RE@OrielHS Just tell me what to do! Read and reflect on the greatest commandment.
How would you apply this to your life? Make a list of at least three things you will do before your next RE lesson in keeping with these commandments and check to see how well you did next lesson.
