Blinded, Crippled, Confusion and Depression 1991 - 2007 Everything I had worked so hard for was lost in a shamble of medical and financial ruin. By 2007 the doctors were telling my family that at the rate of my decline, I may not live longer than 2 – 3 months.

Faith : 

Faith I turned to Pastor John Whitfield for prayer and guidance. With pastor’s constant assurance in prayer and the balancing of medications I was able to regain my mental strength and my faith in the Lord.

Defying Medical Science : 

Defying Medical Science May 4, 2007 While watching the 700 Club we received a word of knowledge that God was healing a stroke victim right now! So we claimed it. The anointing of the Lord was so powerful that we both started to cry hysterically. I was healed! This was my miracle. Thank You Jesus!

God’s Glory : 

God’s Glory After extensive testing to prove I was indeed healed, I have been medically declared a miracle. All tests indicate that there is visible damage to my brain in three locations. The artery feeding into the right side of my brain through the brain stem is blocked nearly 100%. Essentially that means that there is not enough blood or oxygen feeding my brain, therefore, no rational explanation for me to be alive. A team of the best neurologists and cardiologists could not explain anything other than a Devine intervention. I have been walking, running, dancing and defying medical science from that moment on. He restored the vision to my left eye, removed the aneurism, released the constant pain and brought a new meaning to the mighty glory and wonder of what God can do.   I give all the Glory to God, for without Him I am nothing. Greater is He who lives in me.

Inside Jay’s Heart : 

Inside Jay’s Heart I had symptoms all my life of heart issues and didn’t know what it was. My heart problems started out as what I believed to be heartburn. 1998 I had a surgical repair of a 7.2 centimeter dissected thoracic aortic aneurism.

Healing Takes Time : 

Healing Takes Time Several mini-strokes later the doctors ordered the ultra sound that discovered a hole in my heart that is believed to have been there since birth. Surgery was scheduled to close the PFO. The day before the surgery, my sister in Christ, Dee Stephens, took authority over the prayers being said for me with the prayer team at our church. She was compelled by the Holy Spirit to pray. Not for a successful surgery, but a complete healing.

Miracles are Spontaneous : 

Miracles are Spontaneous On Monday, August 25, 2008 Judy and I arrived at DMC Harper Hospital along with Sharon Sylvester from church.  Doctor Schrieber and Doctor Forbes checked every way possible to find the hole in my heart. Much to their surprise, it could not be found. Dr. Schrieber stated that God had beaten him to it and sealed it shut.  Praise God! There was nothing that needed to be repaired.

Mark 10:52 : 

Mark 10:52 “Go”, said Jesus, “Your faith has healed you.”
