Texas School Technology and Readiness (STaR) Chart Online resource tool for self-assessment of your campus. Integrate technology across the curriculum. Students be technology literate by the end of the eighth grade. A tool designed for use in technology planning, budgeting for resources, and evaluation of progress in local technology projects. Profile of your campus’ status toward reaching the goals of the Long Range Plan for Technology.

Star Chart System: 

Star Chart System The online assessment may be used as a basis for dialogue with staff, administrators, technology directors, schoolboard members and community leaders to plan for future growth.

Our schools are faced with challenges to ensure that each student is able to work within a wide array of learning and work communities. Today’s world is changing, technology is the way of the future. Flexibility and Change are goals for the 21st Century. Texas students must learn to learn effectively. They must develop skills and habits of learning that will help them in the future.
