What to do with a bully? :

What to do with a bully? Are you afraid that a kid at school might be dangerous, AND afraid of being called a tattletale? Most schools will protect your privacy. They won't tell who told them. They’re very careful not to. Pretend that you're asking them for change in the cafeteria. Tell people you went to a guidance counselor to talk about your grades. Nobody has to know why you really went to talk to them.

Why Girls Bully :

Why Girls Bully To get what they want To gain respect To become more popular To feel better about themselves To punish people they are jealous of Because they think it’s fun to hurt others’ feelings Because others are doing it

School Bullying :

School Bullying Children can be both bullies and victims. “Although there is a tendency to categorize, we must realize that students may be a victim in a given circumstance and a bully in another,” she writes. “Sometimes when a bullied student is otherwise unable to stop the bullying, the victim may in turn exhibit those behaviors to others.” 56% of students have personally witnessed some type of bullying at school. 15% of all school absenteeism is directly related to fears of being bullied at school. 71% of students report incidents of bullying as a problem at their school.

Why Students Bully :

Why Students Bully Students who bully others tend to have difficulties with other relationships, such as those with friends and parents. Targeting those relationships, as well as the problems children who bully have with aggression and morality, may offer ideas for intervention and prevention.
