ABOUT THE AMC EXAMINATIONS : 

ABOUT THE AMC EXAMINATIONS The Exams have been set at the level of knowledge and clinical skills of new graduates of Australian medical schools. Australian graduates who have been tested with the AMC exam have shown up a high pass rate. The Australian Intern is: New graduate with experience in Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency Has the opportunity to gain further experience beyond intern year e.g. O&G, paediatrics, psychiatry Usually enter specialty training to become a Physician, Surgeon, or General Practitioner

AMC EXAM FORMAT : 

AMC EXAM FORMAT Two 3½ hour exams with a lunch break in between Administered by computer in designated examination centres 300 questions in total 240 are marked 60 are pilot items 80 are considered “mastery”

AMC EXAM FORMAT All questions are type “A” questions with single best answer out of five possible choices One mark for each correct answer No negative marks for incorrect or missed answers Raw score adjusted to account for variations in candidate ability and exam difficulty Mastery pass standard 60% Overall pass standard 50%

In a reduced match(team 1 score = 257/4) team two has to score 202 for 6 in 35 overs 198 for 5 in 32 overs 180 for 5 in 30 overs 175 for 4 in 27 overs 168 for 3 in 25 overs Answer : WHO KNOWS ?! This is one of those questions where a candidate who knows the DL method will get it, most should just pick a random answer This is an example of a “Pilot item”
