Comparison Guide to Teaching with Modern and Traditional Methods Teaching is a methodology of learning and sharing knowledge and experiences to guide people to learn particular things in correct way through questioning listening and reasoning. This lead to intellectual growth of a person by another person. We all know that teaching exists everywhere right from home to school to office. At present the methodology of teaching is gone a head from traditional to modern hybrid methods but still the primary motive does not change that is to share knowledge. Traditional teaching also known as conventional methodology of teaching is more concerned with control and discipline. The teacher has a major responsibility to share information with learners in a learning environment that is a classroom or a learning campus. Here learning process occurs in an independent collaborative and competitive manner. The interaction between teacher and student is very high and it more towards teacher centered method. Blackboard act as an interface between teacher and students. Teachers explain the concept by text and diagram on blackboard. Students make important notes on their notebooks using pencils or pen. After their learning session for a day get over teachers provide home works to students students revise their notes and complete their home works. Here theoretical learning is more compared to practical learning. The learning contents are based on syllabus given by the educational board anything outside the syllabus of the subject are not allowed. The primary motivation of traditional teaching is to memorize contents and to pass the examination with higher marks as possible. The traditional teaching methodology makes sure every student gets basic education and learnt life discipline. This is most cost-effective way to gain knowledge at best. Modern methodology of teaching also know Hybrid teaching method comes to existence after the development of digital technology. This is more towards student centered method. The usage of physical books and paper are very less here instead computers projectors and internet be an important tool and interface to share knowledge. Teachers provide their explanations on his computer which is then projected to students via LCD screen or to the computer of students via network. Students have laptop as a learning device. Students get visual representation of theories and texts via presentation slides videos and graphical animations sometimes through sound. This makes the explanation to understand better. Students make their notes in word or presentation and also have their education diaries as well as personalized 2018 diaries on their computer for further reference. The teacher is here not only to explain but to encourage and help students to explore try out make learning interesting. Modern method helps student to learn self-learning rather dependent on teachers. Nowadays more people prefer modern methodology to learn things as it is equally theoretical and practical oriented learning method. This is expensive method of teaching compared to traditional method. On conclusion both method have its own pros and cons. The purpose of teaching and education is to share knowledge to lead better personal and professional life. This can be achieved by both these systems or by combining both method.
