Fall and Winter : Fall and Winter FALL : FALL In Fall, many green leaves turn bright colors. They turn yellow, orange and red. Many trees lose their leaves, as they FALL to the ground. : Many trees lose their leaves, as they FALL to the ground. Slide 6: Not all leaves fall. Some leaves stay green all year long. Slide 7: We start to wear sweaters and jackets. In Fall, the air is cool and crisp, a nice change from the hot weather in summer. Slide 8: In fall we harvest fruit from trees. Slide 9: And pumpkins and corn from gardens. Slide 10: In Fall, we celebrate Halloween. October 31st is Halloween Slide 11: Winter In winter the weather turns very cold. The days get shorter and darker. Slide 12: In some places it snows during winter. Slide 14: It does not snow everywhere in winter. In some places winter brings big, cold rain storms. Does is snow where you live? Slide 15: Trees that lost their leaves during fall, Still have no leaves. Slide 16: Tree that kept their leaves during fall, still have their leaves.
