Jesus Christ “the Messiah” is born. Jesus Christ died on the cross 30 A.D. In a 30 year period the Council of Jerusalem was formed and the Roman letters were written. Modern day Baptism originated from Jesus Christ initiating his followers. History Continued : History Continued Communion as us Christians know recalls the Last Supper when Jesus gave his body and blood to his apostles. After Jesus’ crucifixion the synoptic gospels were written and wrote an account about Jesus’death. Early Christians believed that there were seven heavens, one physically above the other, with an anthropomorphic God enthroned in the highest heaven. Modern Christianity : Modern Christianity Modern Christianity generally regards heaven as a spiritual domain that can not be physically located. God is now perceived as omni-present, rather than enthroned in the highest heaven. Origin Relating to Christianity : Origin Relating to Christianity Origin- the beginning from which Christianity developed and flourished. We talk about origin, when Jesus, a Jew, started Christianity by picking 12 apostles. Jesus was the first leader of Christianity until he died on the cross, then his apostles became the first church leaders. Roots Relating to Christianity : Roots Relating to Christianity Roots of Christianity began with Jesus, "the Messiah", who later changed the beliefs and core values. Early communities of Christianity were found outside of Jerusalem in Antioch and Corinth, the political center of Rome. Origin & Roots Continued : Origin & Roots Continued Started in 1st century and even continues today being the most popular religion in the world. 1st Christian church was centered in Jerusalem and it's leaders were: James, Peter and John.
