Tiklas Falls: The Majestic Waterfall of Gingoog City Tiklas Falls has a powerful body of water that dash up to 50 feet from the cliff. Tourists and visitors will surely enjoy seeing the enchanting waterfall. They can also have their picnic here with the waterfall as the backdrop. Before reaching the falls, you need to trek for about 15 minutes on a trail that is muddy and rocky.

How to get there Tourists who want to see the Tiklas Falls may travel by air, land and sea. By Air: From Manila, one can take a flight going to Cagayan de Oro City Airport from Ninoy Aquino International Airport through major airline companies like Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific Airport . By Sea: From Manila, 2GO (formerly Superferry ) offers four times weekly sailing schedule from Manila seaport going to Cagayan de Oro (vice versa). By Land: Gingoog City is accessible by land from Cagayan de Oro City and Butuan . From Butuan City , you can take a bus bound to Cagayan de Oro . If you’re coming from the city proper of Gingoog , you can take a tricycle ride going to Eskina Santiago.   From CDO , ride a bus bound to Butuan or Gingoog . The travel time is also two to three hours. Drop off at Eskina Santiago. Upon reaching Eskina Santiago, ride a habal-habal going to the entrance of Tiklas Falls. Habal-habal fare is around 150 pesos when hired. From the entrance, you need to walk for 350 meters going to the wonderful waterfall.

Comments The place is so natural which is away from the noise of the city . The water falls is so refreshing . This was one of the best part of my 17 days the water and falls . Man great pics from all that. I was here in May 2014 thou. Just so u know. My GF at this time. By the way she is my wife now. There also place close by so u can cook out relax and Buy thinks... Its an hour drive (slow pace) from the main city. But when you get there, its worth it because of the fresh cold water. The pool also has a great view of the falls soo you should be able to enjoy yourselves. WARNING There is no signal there for smart The trail to the waterfall is easy access. There is a pool at the site for swimming, no fife guard. Pleasant forest surroundings Nature lovers find this place a haven worth of an adventure. Tracersing the terrain via motorcycle or by car makes your teip teuly exciting and fun. Such a beautiful place, quiet and awe-inspiring. With a public place to swim so as not to disturb the natural environment this covers all factors of environmental friendliness and access to hidden urges.. 7 km from gingoog and a 300 m trek up an easy path.
