In order for a project to succeed, there must be a healthy balance of teamwork, strong and knowledgeable leaders and an unambiguous project map. Each member of the team must have a clearly defined role as to effectively collaborate to the success of the project. A football team becomes an excellent example of this; each player carries out a distinct yet crucial function and they work in partnership for the achievement of the bigger picture. The coach can be viewed as the project manager; he is responsible for effectively communicating the success strategy to his team and keeping them on track.Slide 11: Individual commitment to a group effort - that is what makes a team work, a company work, a society work, a civilization work.
