Timeline Year 1 2011 – 2012 Choose an Information Skills Curriculum NYC DOE Empire Information Fluency Continuum Examine the Standards for Collaboration Opportunities Analyze the Six Shifts relative to our resources, instruction, and programs Gather information about current research activities using library resources and facilities Craft a standardized web presence across the district – a portal to library collections, resources and research guidance

Year 2 : 

Year 2 2012-2013 Launch unified web presence Development of Inquiry-based collaborative projects across grade levels and subject areas (requires planning and coordination with our classroom counterparts) Creation and pilot of Research Manual (with input from teachers, of course)

Year 3 : 

Year 3 2013-2014 Web presence fully functional Research manual complete and in use Students meeting benchmarks at grade 2,5,8 and 12 Evaluate, Revise, Evaluate, Revise….
