synopsis : 

This is a story of Lisa, a sweet , innocent and cultured girl who is subject to the stark realities of life at a very young age. The sudden demise of her father and left with no support whatsoever, circumstances lead her into the lives of the people of elite, high class society as a society girl. However the hollow lives of these high society people is in sharp contrast to the maturity that life has gifted to Lisa, which creates an emotional vaccum inside her. Left with no expectations, her life moves on until one day destiny plays its role and gets her in touch with Yudi, a rich old man almost of her fathers age, at a rejuvenation ashram. The loneliness in Yudi’s life strikes a chord with Lisa and they become friends . synopsis

Slide 4: 

Now both find some meaning in their respective lives in each other’s company. One such evening, as they walk along Marine drive, their senses are caught unaware by the soulful music of the strings of the guitar being played by a guy sitting all alone on the rocks. This is Mohan, who is a small town boy from a middle class family. Mohan has come to this city of dreams with a dream of becoming a successful playback singer, but has now become disillusioned to the illusions that this city presents to the newcomers. Lisa brings Mohan to her home and starts nurturing his dreams by giving him unconditional support. Thus the three of them form a world of their own in each others company, and become close friends.

Slide 5: 

Yudi often talks of his loneliness despite having so much money. One day Mohan suggests him to hire love in his life. When Yudi asks for the girl Mohan jokingly suggests Lisa’s name to which she also agrees. Neither of them had an idea that what had started on a funny note is going to change the course of their lives in the times to come. Mohan is the most promising singer in his music class and his guruji has high hopes for him.  Sana , a rich beautiful girl soaked in a typical metro city culture and life style, is also in Mohan’s class. Sana gets attracted to Mohan for all the praises and adulation that he gets, but Mohan constantly keeps on ignoring her.

Slide 6: 

Meanwhile Lisa, while playing the contract game with Yudi, unknowingly falls in love with him, totally unaware of the fact that Mohan, whom she considers her closest friend , has started loving her. Sana is jealous of Lisa and even confronts her regarding Mohan. Lisa clarifies her stand and makes Mohan understand the value and importance of love that he is getting from Sana. Yudi, who is enjoying all the love, care and attention that he is getting from Lisa still thinking that both are in a game, suddenly starts feeling his dependence over Lisa. Meanwhile Sana, after getting Mohan in her life, suddenly starts loosing interest in him because of her frivolous character and breaks off with Mohan.

Slide 7: 

Now both Lisa and Yudi have realized that they have fallen in love with each other, but both are fighting within their minds to confess their feelings. Where Lisa is afraid of her past being exposed in front of Yudi and once again losing love in her life, Yudi is hesitant of expressing his feelings because of his age. Though Yudi is afraid of losing the emotional security that has come for once in his life, yet he thinks on practical terms to sacrifice his love for Lisa’s betterment. Here Mohan plays the navigator to sail their boat of love through all the tides and makes them reach the shore. All three of them become a happy family in the end.

Thus JAWAB DHUNDU SAWALON MEIN traverses the journey and growth in life of three human beings, each having their own distinct personality entirely different from each other, yet bound by one common chord called LOVE.

Lisa : 

A young woman in her early thirties. She is sweet, innocent & generous by heart, who has got the facts of life clear in her mind. She has grown mature with the passing of time & highly values the relationships in her life. She is an emotional & sensitive person who despite having lost in her life, still finds love the purest of all emotions in a human’s life. Lisa

Yudi : 

A 55 year old man, almost of Lisa’s father’s age. He is a mature rich person, sweet but stubborn in nature. Devoid of love & affection from his near & dear ones, loneliness always accompanies him in his life. He thinks of all the relationships in a human beings life as a selfish game, and has buried all his emotions & sensitivities under his rich worldly persona. But once he comes in touch with Lisa, all these emotions resurface in his life & we are exposed to the childlike vulnerable side of his personality. Yudi

Mohan : 

He is a small town middle class man, almost of Lisa’s age. He is ambitious but immature, & unexposed to the realities of life. He is soft by nature & lacks the killer instinct to fight the odds in life. Lisa’s companionship not only gives him the adequate strength to fulfill his dreams but also takes him on such a journey in life which instils maturity inside him & reflects his growth as a human being. Sana : 

A good looking girl around 25-26 years of age. She is a rich, immature girl soaked in a typical metro city culture & lifestyle. She is frivolous in character & cannot sustain a relationship with the opposite sex for too long. She lacks depth in her thoughts & holds no values in her life. Sana
