Community Oriented teaching all undergraduate students undergo community based learning and training known as “Residential Field Side Training” (RFST). They receive two weeks RFST- at Upazilla Health complexes (UHC) during their 4th year.

RFST The students in batches, supervised by their teachers of Community Medicine department go to the ‘Upajilla Health Complexes (UHC)’ at Beani Bazar, Jaintapur, Balaganj, Chatak nad Zakiganj, where they acquire practical knowledge by taking history, examining the patients and closely observing the treatment the patients receive in the UHC given by the doctors working in there.

Medical Skill Cente (MSC) The Medical Skill Centre was established in 1996 by the ‘British Council’ under Further improvement of Medical colleges (FIMC) project .

Hospital Pathology The hospital has a fully equipped pathology. Almost all the biochemical, serological and bacteriological tests are done in the hospital pathology from 8 AM to 12 midnight.

College Pathology: 

College Pathology The college pathology department is also serving the patients of the hospital. Biochemical, serological, bacteriological and histopathological tests are done during the office hour
