Because rainy seasons are on head there and if nothing is done, might be the roof of the temple would be destructed by the monsoon and winds. Few criminals destroyed the 1000 years old Rishabhnatha idol recently (27 July 2012) And hence we may loose great, unique and heritage idols. That’s why a restore plan is created for the temple site- in an urgent situation. As per the plan, needs are: (It is not a hi-fi plan, it fulfills only basic requirements of the temple which estimates not less than 6 Lacs Rupees ) To allot land around temple from the “Gram Panchayat ” To build temple premises/compound Boring for water needs Solar Light And finally, Temple Repair/Restore works (which is a major work indeed) A trust for this temple would be created which will look after the temple after restoration of the temple (trust creation takes more than a month or two in Karnataka- but right now a temporary committee for temple is created).ALUR Jain Site: Who is behind its restore ?: ALUR Jain Site: Who is behind its restore ?
