Primates Spider Monkeys Spider monkeys are extremely social animals. If one is kept alone in captivity, it can easily die of lone lines unless its owner gives it great attention.

Habitat : 

Habitat Spider monkeys are a primate which come from Mexico, Brazil and the tropical rain forests of Central and South America.

Diet : 

Diet Spider monkeys eat ripe fruit, leaves, seeds, flowers, nectar, insects and small bird eggs.

Features : 

Features Spider monkeys bodies can measure up to 46 cm in length. Their tail is even longer measuring up to 61 cm long. Their limbs are a bit longer than their tail. When spider monkeys spread out all of their limbs they look like a giant spider, and thats how they got their name. Spider Monkeys have short fur which comes in many different colours.
