Links home & school. KEY FEATURES OF E-PORTFOLIOS School work can be expressed in an engaging interactive and digital way which appeals to a wide range of learning styles. Everything in the one place each childs work links back to their own e-portfolio. Blogs have a specific purpose – new blog for each topic. Consistent titles, topics, then kids design their own pages. Cyber safety protocals in place - first name , city, country ( not school). Provides an authentic audience. (not mum & dad or teacher). Emphasis on process not product - easy to see and follow eg science fair. Ability to scaffold student learning towards independence.
