IWB Inquiry Trail Sharing Our Collective Knowledge and Practice

Ideas to use the IWB straight away Find out some new ideas, resources, which I can use straight away in my classroom Learn a new application that is ready to go. Learn about things I can use in the classroom Practical ideas to use in the classroom straight way. X 2 More websites, resources. To find or use a resource I can use tomorrow with the class I will be teaching To ensure my IWB works daily (I mean if things go worng I want to know how to fix them) Learn something new Resources and websites, ideas to use every day in class. New dieas and resources I can use in class. Using the IWB in a useful way for senior students Reeady to use ideas and applications.

2. Presently, How Are YOU Using Your IWB To Make A Difference? Whole Class Learning – Curriculum Areas Whole Class Learning – Motivates everyone Nothing. Haven’t got one yet. Allows larger groups to all see brainstorms I don’t have one yet Lids love using it – motivates them Easy to store files. Student engagement (something new) Print brainstorm rather than rub off board. Exposed to new resources. Motivation Tapping resources – Makes a difference to me. Filekeeper of brainstorms Kids can all refer to brainstorm – can print them off and put in modelling books or their books Kids are motivated to use it. Kids know more about it than me and enjoy leading the learning. All working hard using board. Chn have extra tech knowledge. Love doing units i.e. presenting work outcomes, brainstorming to end.
