Free Charity Cars member: Etheredge:alabama :

Free Charity Cars member: Etheredge:alabama My son Joshua was born with a severe heart problem called "double right ventricle outlet". Which means that he has only one good pumping chamber working in his heart, therefore causing a lack of oxygen from getting to his brain. Most people have 99% oxygen flowing to their brain, Joshua only had 56% oxygen flowing to his brain causing him to be mentally delayed. Joshua has undergone 4 open heart surgeries to correct the problem. He will be having his 5th open heart surgery, soon. We desperately need your help. Thank you.

Free charity cars member: dbabytrouble:MICHIGAN My son (was grandson) was a victim of child abuse. He was shaken by my daughters boyfriend. It happened 12-22-2000. He's disabled now. He can't walk. He's in wheel chair. I got him at 4 months old. He is now 9 years old. He is getting to heavy to put in a car seat. He’s supposed to go in his wheel chair, but I can’t afford a disability van, because I'm on a fixed income. He loves to go away for rides to the doctors. But it’s too hard to take him out and put him in the car because he’s getting heavier. I love this boy with all my heart and I can’t afford to get him a van to go away in. He is such a fighter. He has a VP shunt, CP, seizures, asthma. He smiles a lot and he communicates by clicking tongue for yes and huha for no.

Free charity cars member: dkflatt2010:oklahoma The picture that you see here is our daughter after she had her second open heart surgery last month at four years of age. There are more to come as she falls in the percentile of significant recurrence and has to have several doctor appointments to follow up. This is a life long situation and will never go away.

Free charity cars member:journey101574:ohio :

Free charity cars member:journey101574:ohio I have a 2 1/2 year old daughter. She was born with Tetrologoly of the Fallot and Di George Syndrome. They told me at first her heart was not repairable. She under went her first open heart surgery and did good but after 3 days of being home, I had to take her to the ER. They ended up admitting her and she ended up having pneumonia and bacteria growing in her body. I lost my Dad last year when my daughter was on life-support and I had no transportation to get down to see him. So now all of my Dad's side of the family does not speak to me.

Free charity cars member: austin:wisconsin My grandson is 5 years old and is very disabled. He cannot walk, talk, crawl or anything else that other kid's his age can do. But he has the biggest smile that can melt your heart. He has a rare metabolic disorder and need's to go to Children’s Hospital every week. His feeding tubes are working to put weight on him, but he still has no cure.

Free charity cars member: arianahsmommy:missouri My daughter was born on August 11, 2007, weighing 1 lb, 13 oz. She stayed in the NICU for 3 months and had 3 surgeries before she was 1 year old. At 1 1/2 she was diagnosed with Sensory Integration Dysfunction Disorder which basically means all of her senses are affected. Every part of my daughters day is a challenge. Even down to eating. She chokes on everything, including liquids. She only eats foods you can swallow without chewing, like pureed foods or soft foods like pasta. My daughter receives Occupational, Speech and Feeding therapy 4 times a week to help but it takes 45 minutes to get to the therapists and our truck is about to die.

Free charity cars member: melconrebel:ohio My son was 3 months premature (weighed in at 2 lbs 6 ozs). He was in NICU for 9 1/2 weeks & has numerous difficulties. He had his first surgery at 3 weeks old. In his first year of life, he had spent 9 months in & out of hospitals (mostly in). During this time, he had 15 surgeries. My son has 12 Doctors & therapies to help with his medical conditions. My son is now 3 years old & 32 pounds...he has grown a lot! Some of the medical issues he has includes, cerebral palsy, seizure disorder, hydrocephalous (with a shunt in his head), bronchia pulmonary dysplasia, & has a G tube (feeding tube). He has a wheelchair... He cannot walk or crawl or even sit up on his own. He is unable to talk, but has found ways of voicing his opinions & likes/dislikes. Despite all this, he is a very happy boy & a true gift from God.

Free charity cars member:clary145:new jersey My daughter was born with the two main arteries of her heart in the opposite place and a hole in the septum or the middle wall of the heart. She was only born 3 lbs, 4 oz. The same day she was transferred to NYU in New York City to have extra care and the major surgery. After two weeks in the hospital she caught a horrible intestinal infection called NEC. This meant she had to go back in for an emergency operation. The next day she went back to the O.R. again. The Doctors removed fully 21 cm of intestine. She is now 8 months old and still looks as if she is 3 months because she cannot support a lot of food in her belly.

Free charity cars member:kaylie2004:virginia :

Free charity cars member:kaylie2004:virginia Can you imagine not being able to hear your baby cry for 2 years because of the damage to her airway this was my granddaughters life. She requires 24/7 care. She breathes through a Tracheostomy tube surgically inserted in her neck. Her total nutrition is given through a feeding tube inserted through her nose which goes directly into her stomach.(soon she will be having surgery to insert a tube in her stomach) During her NICU stay she spent 3 months on life support (ventilator). She has extreme Asthma and allergies. Lung disease (BPD) from prematurity and ventilator requirements. She is at great risk of infection. She has a heart murmur (still present) and PDA ligation. (whole in heart) repaired. Liver and blood disorders. She has Hypothyroidism, Hypotonia and oxygen requirements. The little Princess and myself are asking for your hands and hearts to reach out and help us to get the much needed vehicle that she needs.

Free charity cars member:jenniflw:arkansas :

Free charity cars member:jenniflw:arkansas I have a daughter, she is 5 years old and I have a son who is 8 years old. My son has Aspergers, (a form of Autism) SI dysfunction and ADHD. My son goes to Occupational Therapy and Behavior Therapy 2 times a week. We do not have any transportation to get him to his therapies or even to the Dr. to get his medicine. He is depressed and has to have Prozac. Due to his SI dysfunction he bites himself until he bleeds or will chew on just about anything he can. We live in a rural area about 15 min. away from the nearest town. We don't have cabs or buses. My husband works a part time job because we have to borrow a car to get him back and forth to work. It would mean the world to me If we got a car.

Free charity cars member:angels4holden:nebraska :

Free charity cars member:angels4holden:nebraska My husband was diagnosed with Papillary Carcinoma shortly after our 4th child was born. He is not curable. Then at the age of 36, I was diagnosed with aggressive breast cancer. I had 17 rounds of Chemo and 7 surgeries. As a result I have DDD, heart problems and Histoplasmosis in my lungs. Then my worst nightmare happened Sept 2010 our 12 year old son Holden was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I pray every night for GOD to give me back my cancer and take my sons away but every morning I wake up and he is still having seizures from the tumor. Please pray for him.

Free charitycars member:skye3:pennsylvania :

Free charitycars member:skye3:pennsylvania I have a 3 year old sick daughter. She has a very rare heart disease and the only way to fix it right is a heart transplant. She has had surgery done. It was a failure. She’s in and out of Hershey all of the time. I rely on family for the transportation there. I have 3 other children besides her. I have a very low income. I had to quit working due to her heart problem. She has been life-flighted and taken by ambulance several times. A van would be really helpful to my family. Thank you everybody and God Bless all of you.

Free charitycars member:sarabeth:florida :

Free charitycars member:sarabeth:florida Hello, my son has Neurofibramotosis and just had brain surgery on 9-23-10. They removed part of a tumor on his brain behind his left eye. The tumor ate through the eye bone, causing the tumor to start pushing out his eye and causing it to pulsate. They had to take a piece of his skull and replace the bone behind his eye. They were not able to remove all of the tumor because it is attached to part of the brain that was making his heart rate drop as soon as they would go near it. My son will have this and get other tumors for the rest of his life. There is no cure for this at all. It also can cause many other difficult problems. We are in need of a car to help get to and from Doctor appointments. Please, keep us in your thoughts and prayers as you will be in ours. God bless.

Free charity cars member:christopher15massachusetts :

Free charity cars member:christopher15massachusetts My son was a 26 week premature twin. He had more complications than his twin brother. He suffered a stroke at birth that left him blind, unable to speak, suffers from seizures, Trachestomy tube to breathe, a shunt to drain fluids from his brain, a feeding tube to eat and much more. Now that he is going to be 16 years old he is getting very heavy for me to carry from his wheelchair to bed, shower and to the car. We attend many hospital appointments. We are in need of a handicap equipped mini van to be able to transport him in his wheelchair to doctor visits, hospital appointments, etc. A van that could provide assistance would be extremely helpful. He enjoys going out for rides, especially going to the beach and listening to the seagulls. If you can make this happen for us we would be most GRATEFUL.

Free charitycars member:mayra:new jersey :

Free charitycars member:mayra:new jersey My daughter is severely handicapped and can’t talk, walk or do anything for herself. Mommy does it for her. She has seizures daily and take lots of meds. She almost died last year due to her seizures. She now has oxygen tanks, suction machine, heart monitors, etc. I can’t work, so I got in to Omega as a Cardiovascular Technician to learn about the heart. Her Father is also disabled due to being pinned in a truck by a forklift and he also had a heart attack. I take care of them and I really need this help. I saw this site and said, “God heard my prayers!” Please help me and my family with a van or something to carry all of my daughters equipment and wheel chair . God Bless all.

free charitycars member:gghsm:new jersey :

free charitycars member:gghsm:new jersey Hi. I am a single unemployed mom of 3 beautiful girls. My middle one has a medical condition that requires her to have surgery every 4 weeks to remove tumors that grow on her vocal cords and air way due to a virus she was born with. She also has a Tracheostomy tube to help her breathe. She was diagnosed at 10 months old and she is now 7. She has been undergoing surgeries ever since, this is a permanent condition. We are in desperate need of a car or minivan ,because I recently lost my car which was donated to me in the S.O.S. shelter we use to live in. Also, we live in NJ and we go to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for her surgeries and I am finally going back to school in January. I hope when you read this you are Blessed, because in spite of our situation we are grateful to the Lord for all of His Blessings.
