Premium member Presentation Transcript ABOUT US : ABOUT US The Surrey Christmas Bureau (SCB) is the largest and busiest Christmas Bureau in British Columbia, serving over 1,900 Surrey families and 5,000 children in 2009 For 40 years, the SCB has been helping low-income families, and children under the age of 15, celebrate Christmas through Christmas Hamper and Adopt-A-Family programs. ABOUT US : ABOUT US The SCB is a volunteer-based, non-profit, registered charitable organization that relies mainly on donations from local residents and businesses to sustain its programs. 90% of all grants and donations go directly into services that benefit families in need. ABOUT US : ABOUT US As Surrey continues to grow, and as the economy's instability lingers, there is an even greater need for the services we provide.
