Web 2.0 - Web 2.0 , a phrase coined by O’Reilly Media in 2004 , refers to a perceived or proposed second generation of Internet-based services — such as social networking sites, wikis, communication tools, and folksonomies — that emphasize online collaboration and sharing among users.

Folksonomy/Social Bookmarking:

Folksonomy/Social Bookmarking is the practice and method of collaboratively creating and managing tags to annotate and categorize content Collaborative tagging – this meta data is used to describe the item and enabling keyword-based classification and search of information Tags- A tag is simply a word you use to describe a bookmark. Unlike folders, you make up tags when you need them and you can use as many as you like. The result is a better way to organize your bookmarks and a great way to discover interesting things on the Web. Social Bookmarking- allows users to store, organize, share and search bookmarks of web pages.
