Zafra Museum (Harvest Museum) gathers a significant part of our history. It is in the south of Gran Canaria . Tomatoes in Canary Islands Tomatoes grow in Gran Canaria because it has the best soil and climate conditions. Tomatoes were exported to many places but mostly in the UK. 11 It’s rich in vitamin A, BI, B2, PP and C. It also contains mineral salts of potassium, phosphorus, calcium, sodium, iron and zinc.
