Who Is He? :

Who Is He? Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him) is named: Muhammad son of Abdullah son of Abdul Mutalib . Born in the year 570 A.C. (after Christ) in Makkah , and died in 633 A.C. in Madinah . The last in the chain of divinely appointed prophets.

Who Is He? :

Who Is He? At the age of 40, he received his first revelation from God through the Angel Gabriel. These revelations continued for the following twenty-three years of his life. The number of The Prophet's sayings ( Hadith ) collected by his followers and scholars is estimated in thousands.

What Did He Teach?   :

What Did He Teach? He was a man with a noble mission, which was to unite humanity on the worship of one and only God; and to teach people the way to honest and decent living based on the commands of God. He was a religious teacher, a social reformer, and a moral guide. He completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behavior for all times to come.

What Social Norms and Values Did He Advocate?:

What Social Norms and Values Did He Advocate? He taught many important principles and morals based on the holy words of the Koran: freeing slaves and encouraging all of his followers to do the same. rights of orphans. Killing innocent people. wife abuse. family ties. adultery in marriage. gambling and interest on money lending. drinking alcohol. gossip or backbiting. charity to the poor.

He came with a universal call, outlined by the Koran, which embraced economics, finance, public administration, health and education, justice, the law of nations, and knowledge.

What about Education in the Teachings of Muhammad (peace be upon him)? Some of his famous sayings about the importance of education are the followings: "To pursue knowledge is an obligation on every believing man and woman." "Allah makes the way to heaven easy for him who walks the path of search for knowledge.'' "He who goes forth in search of knowledge is considered as struggling in the cause of God until he returns.'' “Seek knowledge from the cradle to the grave.”

Did He Use Any Teaching Methods? The Prophet (peace be upon him) was a perfect teacher and instructor. While preaching his followers, he adopted various educational methods: talking slowly and clearly, using simple language, using humor, choosing the appropriate time and place, tailoring the lesson to the needs of the audience, narrating stories and deriving conclusions, using illustrations and drawings, asking questions, repeating his point many times to draw attention to a particular point, encouraging self instruction and research,

Conclusion: :

Conclusion: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) came and set the best example for humanity in belief, worship, good conduct, and, in short, in all aspects of life. Although illiterate, he played the role of a knowledgeable educator and sociologist setting a road map for Muslims on how to carry a peaceful life that guarantees salvation in the after-life.
