Ordering Decimals Ascending order goes from the smallest to the largest. 1.4, 2.3, 3.3, 4.2, 5.9 are in ascending order. Descending order goes from the largest to the smallest. 3.4, 2.3, 1.2, 1.1, 0.1, 0.09, 0.05 are in descending order.
