Slide 12:Did anyone really sing this song? The Amalgamated Song
Amalgamated Elevators everyone must know
They love to go the opposite way
Of where you want to go
Ho hum, the tune is dumb
The words don’t mean a thing
Isn’t this a silly song?
For any one to sing
We use to dance and tap our feet
But they won’t keep in rhythm
So we tied our whiskers round our legs
Now we can’t do nothing with um
Ho hum the tune is dumb
the words don’t mean a thing
Isn’t this a silly song for any one to sing?

Stands a school we’re all so proud of
High on Independence Hill
It’s a school where all are happy
A place where children thrive
It’s a school where all are busy
Oh PS 95 As we are marching on Together
Beneath the red and white and blue
We are working in all weather
For the good that we can do… Rah Rah
Â
And for the welfare of our country
And for our neighbors we all strive
As we learn to love Old Glory
