Rubin and Freda came to the United States of America on October 25, 1896. They arrived in Ellis Island on a ship named The Prussia :

The Leff Family were original settlers of the Amalagamted. A housing cooperative living project that was a huge success. Rae Leff sister of Morris Leff moved into the Amalgamated with her family in 1927 . Beatrice, Rae’s daughter still lives there today, 82 years later!!
