Slide 2: If you’re at school, look on your desktop for this and double click to enter the catalog. Otherwise follow this path: St. Johns Public Schools Website > Media Center Services > Catalog Slide 3: Catalog Slide 4: Next, choose the library that you use: Slide 5: This will take you to a home screen that has links to different digital resources. Select login in the upper right corner. Slide 6: Type in your normal login and password: Slide 7: Once you’re logged in you’ll see three tabs, Home, Catalog, and My Info. Click on Catalog to start searching. Slide 8: Find a book you’re interested in. You can search the collections at other schools by indicating your preference in the drop down menu. Slide 9: The number of copies available will be indicated on the right. If it is 0 or you’re searching another library than the one you’re at, you’ll want to request it. Select Details to expand the record. Slide 10: Highlighted is the term in the record that made it relevant to your search. There is more detailed information about the status of the copy. If you would like to have the material held for you when it is available click Hold It. Slide 11: Your request will be confirmed, and any time you want to check the status of a request just look under the “My Info” tab. Slide 12: When your material has arrived you can pick it up at the Media Center desk! You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
