Why Teach? :Why Teach? Children are delightful (most of the time).
I love to learn and take joy in helping others explore their world.
I enjoy working with people and will feel a sense of community working for and with kids.
Teaching Goals :Teaching Goals Help children make connections about their most fascinating world.
Serve as a good example and role model for my students.
Illustrate that learning is a life-long activity.
Help the children learn not only about facts, formulas, and critical thinking, but also about developing a sense of community and a positive way of working with others through compromise, listening skills, thinking together as a team, etc.
Through classroom organization and activities, I hope to provide a safe place where the children will be able to develop a positive self-image and sense of confidence in their own unique talents and abilities.
