The KKK’s leader was William J. Simmons Simmons believed that a white supremacy should be created and banish “un-american” things like jews, catholics, and communists.
The Success of the Klan :
The Success of the Klan The Klan in its peak had around 4-5 million members at its peak and made lots of money from klan paraphernalia but laws in the south slowly defeated the klan.
The Fall of the Klan :
The Fall of the Klan The Second Klan fell in the mid 40’s because of laws on the south prohibiting the secret nature of the klan.
