Slide 3:OBJECTIVE:
Transsexuals in Malaysia :
- "Mak Nyah ", "Bapok" or " Pondan.“
- Estimated there are about 100 000 transsexuals in
this conuntry which 70% to 80%of it is from Malay
Comunity itself.
- The drasticallay increment in number of male students
who can consideed as transsexual in our local
university have cause miscellaneous reaction from the
society.
It will cause a negative impression to the society.
No organiation or a person that would lik to understand them or believe what had happned to the which is sor of a fantasy that they would like it to be realize.

TRANSSEXUAL
- a person who has undergone a sex operation
- a person whose sexual identification is
entirely with the opposite sex
- overwhelmingly desirous of being or
completely identifying with opposite sex

- is a slang term for male person, with female breasts

- Male transsexsuals in Malaysia are termed Mak Nyah.
It derives from mak, meaning 'mother’
- It was coined by male transsexuals in 1987 in their attempt atself- definition.
- a desire to differentiate ourselves from gay men,
transsexuals,cross dressers,drag queens and other sexual minorities with whom all those who are not heterosexual are automatically lumped
- They are men who think, behave dress and most importantly want to become women.

- ABOUT 'MAK NYAH''MakNyah' is a group
of people that have their gender conflict.
- They have a male orgon but their
are female.So they just follow their instinct

What is your opinion about ' Maknyah'
Student 1 said:
There are so many interpretations about transsexual which part of it are ‘pondan’ (transvestite) and ‘bapok’ (gay)
Transsexual can be categorize into two, one is a man with full of gentleness (girlish) character and another one is transsexual.In girlish man category, we can’t describe it much as they were born like that and it has been decided by Allah SWT.
Student 2 said :
-Transsexuals are different from hermaphrodite because
hermaphrodite is an individual who have two genitals whereas
transsexuals are an individual who is born as a man but have a
woman instinct

Transvestite or “pondan” (also known as “Mak Nyah”, “Bapuk”, “Darai”) is a term that describe a transsexual male which is a person who is biologically is a male but claimed that they have a female instinct .
- This community always used term such as “ trapped in wrong body” or “ a woman who is born as transsexual”Male transsexual is a “Mukhannas” male that want or need other gender than the gender that they are born.
Student 4 says:
- transsexual refers to males who want to be female in every aspect regardless of whether they have to undergone sex change operation and the side effect after the operation
-They also took hormones to reduce their body as well as facial hair and to reduce penile erection
Slide 10:2. How does an individual get involved in this kind of identity conflict?
Students 1& 2 said:
The environment make it hard for them to change or in other word they actually love to be a woman.
One of the factors that cause this conflict is due to lacked of training
and education from both of their parents.
Some parents want to have a daughter so bad, thus they dress up
their son with a girls clothing.
- Indirectly, the son became used to it and more comfortable
wearing a girls clothing until they grew up.
Slide 11:STUDENT 3 & 4 SAID:
A transsexual normally is fully aware of their existence
and realizes the conflict with their instinct since they are
born with a physical of a man but have an instinct like a
Woman.
Most of the times are because of their own soul conflict
since they are young .
by choosing a transsexual as their friends make them felt
that life are more ‘happening’ and ‘fun’.

What are your perseption and reaction when you come cross this group of people in your daily activities?
Students 1 &2 said :
It is true that society looked them with negative stigmatize because what they are something that prohibited by most of religion.
There is some transsexual even involved in unmoral activity such as prostitution
- Normally transsexual have graceful, soft, humorous, entertaining
and kind character which make them as a good companion whether in
a workplace or in a ceremony.

Transsexuals life often associated with negative social
activities.
They are always associated with prostitution work, server
nightclubs, massage and fortune others .
Transsexual always involved in a job that providing sex
services since maybe they can not find a decent job and they
usually live below the poverty line.
This also might cause them to get various sexual diseases.

No, because they will have to face various risk that will destroy their ownself.
Parts of the risk are:-
Society negative perception .
Discrimination in economic opportunity.
Professional position is only for those who are certain about their own gender which is a man or a woman .
Transsexual always involved in a job that providing sex services. This also might cause them to get various sexual diseases.
A problem pertaining with their identity card, passport and insurance. Students 1, 2,3 & 4 said :

They will always be criticize by the society for what ever they do.
The society even humiliates and flouting them thus they will continue to live their life as transsexual.
As a Muslim, biggest sin if we change what ever give by Allah SWT to us.
There’s no ending in a relationship because they
never can be a wife and fulfilled their duty physically
and mentally .
Their original name that stated in their identity card
cannot be change as stated in Jabatan
Pendaftaran Negara law’s.
CONCLUSION :CONCLUSION - Transsexuals need to realize their mistake .
- Thankful for what ever given to them by Allah SWT.
- Accept the reality of them as a man.
- All we need to do is think wisely for our own future.
