Slide1:

Quality Assurance is ensuring that the product produced is right through perfecting the process of manufacturing. The efforts will be before production. QA is process oriented . Quality Assurance is not only a process but a complete system that gives adequate confidence , that the product or service is upto the mark. It is Proactive process . It is Auditing Quality Control is concerned with sampling, specifications, testings , organization, documentation and release procedures which ensures that necessary and relevant tests are actually carried out and that materials are not released for sale, supply until their quality has been judged to be satisfactory. Quality Control is making sure the product is produced correctly . It is Reactive process It is making sure the product is produced correctly. It involves activities that require one to sample, test and approve the product as ‘pass’ or ‘fail’ after production . It is Testing

Slide2:

Quality Assurance Quality assurance lays emphasis on the customer. QA is undertaken before starting a project . is a staff function, which is not in the case of Quality Control QA is a proactive or OR preventive measure to avoid defects. Quality assurance or guarantee pertains to activities that are designed to ensure that the development and maintenance process is adequate and the system meets its objectives . Both QC and QA are highly interdependent. Quality Control Quality control lays emphasis on standards. QC begins once the project has been completed. QC is a corrective measure to identify any defects so as to correct them. QC is a corrective measure to identify any defects so as to correct them. Quality control is a set of activities designed to evaluate a developed product. Both QC and QA are highly interdependent.

Quality Assurance The QA department relies largely on the feedback it receives from the QC department. It guarantee pertains to activities that are designed to ensure that the development and maintenance process is adequate and the system meets its objectives. Quality Assurance is a preventive action. During QA, requirements of customers are defined QA ensures all QC activity are going well by inspection and by checking document. Quality Control If there are any problems, the same are conveyed by QC department to QA department which makes suitable changes in the process so as to avoid these problems in future. It is a set of activities designed to evaluate a developed product. Quality Control is a corrective measure. During QC, the product is tested.corrected to ensure it meets the quality set out initially. QC is under control of development. In simplistic form QC is a part of QA

Quality Assurance The efforts will be before production. QA makes sure that what you are doing are right things in the right manner. Quality assurance in pharmaceutical industry is used for ensure that product or service will satisfy requirement for “ Quality” and covers all matters related to factors influencing quality of a product. Quality Control QC ensures that the results of what you have done are as per your expectations. QC activities are reactive as it intended to detect and block defected products using inspection and testing mechanisms. QC is concerned with sampling, specifications, testings, organization, documentation and release procedures which ensures that necessary and relevant tests are actually carried out and that materials are not released for sale, supply until their quality has been judged to be satisfactory .

Quality Assurance Quality Assurance is not only a process but a complete system that gives adequate confidence, that the product or service is up to the mark . QA is quality assurance is maintained on shop floor during every step in production department, carrying out equipment qualifications, process validation . It manages the quality. It is Process based approach. It focus on prevention of defects . Quality Control QC is making sure the product is produced correctly. It involves activities that require one to sample, test and approve the product as ‘pass’ or ‘fail ’ after production . QC checks if product fulfill its requirement or not and approves it. It verifies the quality. It is Product based approach. It focus on identification of defects.

Quality Assurance Line function. It review frequency is as per Quality management plan (QMP). It occurs after QC is complete but before submission . It is one step review process. Plaaning and systemic activities. Verification is an example. It is a Managerial tool . It is Responsibility of Whole team. To improve in Development and Test Procedures. Focus on the product creation. Quality Control Staff function. It reviews on all Projects and Submittals. It occurs throughout the life of the Project. It is detailed process for each submittals with multiple steps. It eliminates the Problems. Validation is an example . It is a corrective tool. It is Responsibility of specific team.
