CONCEPT OF MAGNETIC MICROSPHERE When magnetic microsphere are injected through artery which supply blood to site of Action or target area. -: MAGNETIC MATERIAL :- Ferrous magnetic material is used. Ions causes local irritation and systemic toxicity. Modification is done and ferroso-ferric oxide complex is used which is bio-compatible and have fine particle size. It reduces side effect. AVANTAGES :- Release of drug for prolong period of time. Act as slow release capsule for extravascular site. It posses greater phagocytic activity than the normal cell.
