Career Summary: 

Career Summary A dermatologist is a physician who specializes in the diagnoses of diseases and tumors of the skin. All dermatologist must learn how to perform dermatologic surgery on their patients. To become a dermatologist you must have a minimum of 12 years of college and post graduate training. This includes a 4 year college where you will take pre-medicine, then a 4 year medical school followed by a year of post graduate training in medicine, surgery, or pediatrics. The salary for this job ranges from $224,630 to $418,000 a year. The future outlook for this job is expected to worsen over the next3 to 5 years because there is a shortage of Dermatologist.
