What is digital storytelling? :What is digital storytelling? Storytelling is an ancient art. Since the beginning of humankind, people have told stories about themselves, their families, their communities, their cultures.
Digital storytelling is the modern expression of these stories, which pairs these stories with a combination of voice recordings, images, video, music, and special effects
What will I do in the class? :What will I do in the class? Practice and improve your English: listening, speaking, reading, writing, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary
Practice storytelling:
using music, images, colors, effects, symbols, and voicing to enhance a story
And … :And … Learn computer skills: find, download, and save images, music, and sound effects; use digital camera; use video camera; use a scanner; use video editing software (Movie Maker and/or Adobe Premiere); edit audio (Audacity); edit photos (Paint, Picassa, Photoshop); burn CDs; send attachments in email; learn to upload movies to the internet (optional)
