One of which we are now recycling all of our soup cans from our kitchen.: We’ve also taken steps within our ARC facility and processing center. With a campaign to upgrade several energy efficient products, we will be decreasing the amount of fuel our facility uses per year.Slide 42: Energy used per year (Existing system) $12,293 /year Energy used per year. (Proposed system) $5,995 / year Resulting in a reduction of $6,297 per year. How about more than half!Under current implementation is a new printer /copy machine. : Under current implementation is a new printer /copy machine. Previously we used 19 separate printers of different types. Now the network printer reduces 19 separate cartridge types to 1 toner cartridge. (This is also EnergyStar and RoHS compliant, with the Contractor Award and the Evergreen Award).We also receive printers as donations that do not work anymore.: We also receive printers as donations that do not work anymore. We recycle all print cartridges that are donated. The cartridges are removed from damaged donations and returned to the manufacturer. The rebate reduces the cost of the facility cartridge purchases by approximately $150 per month.We will be converting our propane fork trucks to cleaner electric fork trucks. : We will be converting our propane fork trucks to cleaner electric fork trucks. The amount of fuel needed to change the batteries in much less than the cost to refine the propane tanks.
