Behavior: 

Behavior Behavior might be affected by multiple actions- Lack of interest is the number one concern Boredom due to lack of interest Students with no interest tend to cause a distraction in the classroom Lack of self-esteem

Social and Emotional: 

Social and Emotional Low Self Esteem Results in lacking interest Less motivation Could lead to bullying Lacking in social skills Will not speak out Will not work well in groups Hard time adjusting to having fun with learning

Instructional Strategies: 

Instructional Strategies Combination approach of direct instruction and whole language instruction Strategies: Sustained silent reading Guided reading Journal writing Extremely detailed directions and instructions for assignments Multisensory Instruction Combination of Auditory, Visual, and Kinesthetic.
