Background Established on September 18, 1947 Department of Defense branch S pecializes in protection of the interest of the United States Government in Air, Space, and cyberspace mediums. Strategy: “Fly, Fight, and Win!”

Strengths: 

Strengths Culture Technology Leadership Rotation

Weaknesses: 

Weaknesses Structure Spending Leadership Rotation

Opportunities: 

Opportunities NCOs Resources AF Space Command

Threats: 

Threats Technology Ego Politics

Recommendations: 

Recommendations 1) Keep NCO development, program is working and working well. 2) Alter relocation practice. Rotating leaders is a good concept, but increase time on station an additional year. 3) Revamp financial spending culture from “use or lose” to a reward system for spending under allotted budget. 4) Integrate with other military branches. Implement interbranch systems and develop cross branch training opportunities .
