Sudden cardiac death sudden cardiac arrest is one of the very important health related issue

Few cases where I personally came across : 

Few cases where I personally came across Mr. Ashok 54 yrs / male / admitted with chest pain /got cardiac arrest in hospital immediately received CPR & revived/ after three weeks came for CABG & recovered / discharged from hospital . Mr. Ramesh 48 yrs/male/brought by relatives hurriedly in hospital within 20 min with history of sudden collapse in front of their eyes/ received CPR in hospital could not help/ Mr. Ramesh lost race of his life

One more interesting case : 

One more interesting case Mrs. Akkatie 68yr/ female/ addmited for DOE / 22yrs DM ,HT, /developed CRF from 2yrs / twice had myocardial infarction / had cardiac arrest in hospital received CPR immediately could not help.

Sudden cardiac deaths In first two examples “heart is too young to die” in last case of Mrs. Akkatie “ heart is too old to survive” So this is very important health related issue Which can be tackled very well by immediate intervention CPR

Awareness in community We need to provide general information of this problem. How to recognize or diagnose this condition. Need to change spectators & indifferent or apathetic attitude towards starting CPR. To whom we can call in this situation

Airway clearance : 

Airway clearance In unconscious state airway will get obstructed due to fall of tongue; this needs to be cleared for giving breaths. To clear the airway head is tilted up & chin is lifted up.

Rescue breath. : 

Rescue breath. expired air contain 16% while air 20% Oxygen. Take deep breath and keep your lips around victims mouth and establish tight seal . Pinch the nostrils of victim and blow the expired air in to the victims mouth while watching chest movement . Give it in one second. Give two rescue breaths at a time.

CPR is continued : 

CPR is continued Till help arrives. Till victim starts breathing. Till rescuer will get fatigued.
