Least Common Multiple (LCM) : 

Least Common Multiple (LCM) Method #1: Find the LCM of numbers by listing their non-zero multiples until you find a match. Example: Multiples of 8: 8, 16, 24, 32, 40, 48, 56, 64, 72, … Multiples of 9: 9, 18, 27, 36, 45, 54, 63, 72, … Multiples of 12: 12, 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, … The LCM of 8, 9 ,and 12 is 72.

Least Common Multiple (LCM) Method #2: Use prime factorization. 1. Find the prime factorization of each number. 2. Find the common factors. 3. Multiply the common factors & the extra factors. Example: 18 = 2 x 3 x 3 30 = 2 x 3 x 5 2 x 3 x 3 x 5 = 90
