What is Online Teaching: 

What is Online Teaching Online teaching according to Davidson- Shivers and Rasmussen (2006), is the process of learning at a distance where learners are separated from instructor but are connected via the web.

Andragogy: 

Andragogy Research has connected constructivism and andragogy to teaching pedagogies to online learning for the following reasons: It focuses on self-direction, learner experiences and problem-centered learning. Instructional design suggestions are offered to enhance learner problem-solving skills, collaboration, communication, motivation, and engagement.

Time management Online adult learners have their assignments, jobs, and families to attend to; therefore, time management is key.

Learning Environment: 

Learning Environment Online adult learners want to learn outside the confinement of the brick and mortar classroom. So they access the Internet from anywhere and at anytime. OR Brick and Mortar Classroom

Web 2.0 Tools: 

Web 2.0 Tools Online adult learners are willing to learn, and experiment with new Web 2.0 tools. Blogging is becoming the norm for the online adult learners as they strive to promote their work and collaborate with others.
