AGE CONCERN MERGER Age Concern which has offices in Swansea, is set to join forces with Help the Aged. The proposed merger only involves the national Age Concern organisations in England, Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. The new name for the merged charity in Wales will be Age Cymru. But Age Concern Swansea along with other independent Age Concern organisations across Wales, are now in the process of deciding if they wish to adopt the new name. Age Concern Swansea wishes to reassure local pensioners they would not be affected. It’s business as usual for our organisation and we remain an independent charity serving the needs of older people across Swansea. + =
