Slide 2:

Mount Abu Mount Abu is situated about 223 km from Ahmadabad & 82 km north of the Palanpur. And about 47 km north–west of famous pilgrim place ‘Ambaji’. The height of Mount Abu from the MSL is about 4100ft, the highest peak of the entire Arawali range ‘Guru Sikhar’ (5654ft) is also situated in Mount Abu hills. Other than the world famous Delwara temple, there are places which are still not exploited by the tourist in Mount Abu. Places like ‘Bhrigurishi’ Ashram, ‘Jamdagni’ Ashram, ‘Sayavera’, ‘Saddkaji Temple’, ‘Devangan’, ‘Gautamrishi’ Ashram and ‘Anjanimata’ temple are still far beyond the reach of normal tourist because of their location in the remote hilly and dense forest area. To reach these places one requires the knowledge of trekking route and above all the courage and endurance to trek and perspire. Mount Abu is also a Wild life Sanctuary, known for its bio-diversity. Panthers, Hyenas, Bears and all kind of small cats are found here with homosapiens. 183 listed species of birds makes it ‘paradise’ for ornithologists. Floral richness is also very unique, the florescent red Flower of Erithrina and whitish purple flowers of ‘Kachnar’ trees are worth seeing during spring season.

The steep rock faces are best for rock climbing training up to the level of Basic, Advance and professional climbing. Huge mountains when climbed, makes you feel as if you are on the top of the world. Trekking in the Karamdis and Lantana covered slope teaches the intricate sense of politeness, endurance and harmony. The caving, as we call it ‘Under Ground mountaineering’ thrills the trainees to their utmost imagination. The magnificent view on all four direction and saintly vibration of the place, keeps the trainees contemplating and leave them speechless. All these factors makes Mount Abu one of the best option for any adventure & Wilderness related activities and camps.
